"Best part of our trip!"
"The sunset cruise was magical. The colors of the sky and the city lights were 10/10. Definitely book in advance."SL
Experience the magic of Istanbul from the water. A Bosphorus Cruise is the best way to see the city's famous skyline, historic palaces, and grand bridges. Floating between Europe and Asia, you will discover why this waterway is the heart of Istanbul. Whether you want a quick sightseeing tour, a romantic sunset, a fun dinner cruise, or a full-day Prince Islands Tour, we have the right option for you.
Five reasons travelers consistently say a cruise was the highlight of their Istanbul trip — beyond the postcard skyline.
Sail exactly between Europe and Asia.
See Dolmabahce Palace, Ciragan Palace, and Rumeli Fortress from the best possible angle.
Admire the multi-million dollar wooden Ottoman houses along the shore.
Get close-up views of the iconic tower in the middle of the sea.
Capture the most beautiful sunset and city lights photos without the traffic of the streets.
Quick-reference essentials before you compare tour types — saves time at booking and at the pier.
Choose between a classic Bosphorus Cruise, a romantic Sunset Cruise, a lively Dinner Cruise, or a full-day Prince Islands Tour.
Most boats depart from Eminonu or Kabatas piers. Check your ticket for the exact location.
Spring and summer are the most popular seasons for cruising, but winter tours can also be beautiful with quieter boats and clear views.
Even in summer, it can be windy on the water. Bring a light jacket or scarf.
For the best views, try to sit on the upper deck. If it is cold, all boats have comfortable indoor areas with large windows.
The Bosphorus is usually very calm. Most people do not feel seasick, but if you are sensitive, choose a larger boat.
Find the Bosphorus experience that suits your trip best. Our cruise options include a classic sightseeing tour, a sunset cruise on a regular boat, a dinner cruise with live shows, and a full-day Prince Islands tour. Compare the options below to see what each experience includes.

You will pass the massive Rumeli Fortress and the elegant Dolmabahce Palace. These are the most impressive buildings on the European side.
Sail directly under the giant bridges that connect two continents. It is an amazing feeling to see the scale of these structures from below. You may also see the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, one of the most famous crossings on the Bosphorus.
Look at the beautiful wooden houses. Some of these are hundreds of years old and are the most expensive homes in Turkey.
One of the prettiest parts of the Bosphorus, Bebek is known for its elegant waterfront, luxury homes, and relaxing atmosphere.

As you sail towards the Marmara Sea, you will see this famous tower standing alone in the water. It is the symbol of Istanbul's romance.
This smaller fortress on the Asian side is one of the oldest military structures on the Bosphorus and an important part of the waterway's history.

Five practical things to know before you book — toggle between tabs to see what applies to your day.
Most tours start near the Galata Bridge (Eminonu) or Kabataş Tram Station. Kabataş and Eminönü are both easy to reach by tram, taxi, or on foot from central areas.
Morning (11:00 AM) is great for clear photos. Sunset is the most romantic time. Evening is best for food and shows. The best season for most travelers is April to October, but winter cruises can also offer beautiful views with fewer crowds.
Tours operate all year. In rain or snow, you can stay in the heated indoor cabin and still enjoy the view.
Arrive at the pier at least 15–20 minutes early. Bring sunscreen, a light jacket, and your camera or phone for photos.
For Dinner Cruises, "Smart Casual" is recommended. For Day Cruises, casual clothes are perfect.
